A major one day conference being held at Oakwood House, Maidstone, on Friday 25 February 2011 for anyone interested in for anyone interested in Community engagement, how local authorities work with local communities, the role of elected representatives in community engagement and how social media is changing the opportunities in this area of local government.

The event will be hosted by Barbara Sturgeon. Keynote speakers for the day are Katherine Kerswell (Group Managing Director of KCC and current SOLACE President) and Davy Jones (The Consultation Institute).
