All Medway parent carers of children and young people aged 0 – 19 years including young people with learning disabilities up to the age of 24 now have the opportunity to have a voice on how services for children, young people and their families are shaped and delivered in Medway.

By involving those who are using services (and in some cases not using them), we hope to improve the quality, range and accessibility of services for all children and young people and their families across Medway. The more parents involved, the more this will help ensure that the right services are being delivered.

To help capture the voice of Medway parents two Medway Parent Carer forums are being set up:

· A forum made up of parent carers who care for children and young people with a disability.

· A general forum made up of parent carers.
