On Tuesday 15th November we got together for another meeting.  We discussed a CYPP priority which was involvement with school improvement. A Youth Development worker Jackie Keskeys explained to us how schools are responsible for their own school councils and how they are run. We felt that the communication was an issue in Medway school councils.
We also looked at volunteering opportunities for young people. We answered a couple of questions on how to increase young people volunteers in children and family services.
Another CYPP priority we looked at was Drugs & Alcohol. Sarah wanted our help on understanding commissioning needs for future services. We had a discussion about this and then fed back to the rest of the group.
I enjoyed this meeting as it was really exciting and rather interesting. Bianca Oravcova,  Young Commissioner
